Breath training gives you powerful tools. Change coaching helps you actually use them -- consistently, in the context of your real life.
You take roughly 22,000 breaths a day. Breathing is an essential function that provides ongoing input into how you feel and function. It impacts your body across four dimensions, all of which -- like strengthening a muscle with exercise -- can be trained.
Your program will draw from these dimensions according to your goals, needs, and preferences.
My training spans physiotherapy-informed mechanics, performance breath training, nervous-system regulation, yoga-based approaches, and mobility systems.

Breath techniques aren’t suitable for everyone. If you’re pregnant, recovering from surgery, or have a medical condition such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory illness, epilepsy or a mental health concern, please consult your healthcare provider before beginning breathwork. Some techniques may require modification or may not be appropriate depending on your individual needs.
What makes breath coaching different from “just breathe” advice?
“Just breathe” is like telling someone who’s struggling in the water to “just float.” The intention is good, but without skills, it rarely works — and for some people, focusing on their breath actually makes things worse. Breath coaching starts with understanding your nervous system, your breathing mechanics, and what your body is ready for. We build from there, step by step, with practices that match your capacity and your goals.
Why is behaviour change coaching part of breath coaching?
Because the biggest barrier in breath training isn’t the exercises — it’s consistency. Behaviour change coaching brings in the science of how people build habits, and follow through even when life is chaotic. It ensures your breathing practices fit your real life, not an idealized version of it.
Who is breath coaching for?
Breath coaching supports a wide range of goals. Some clients come in with clear challenges — stress, dysfunctional breathing, recovery, sleep, focus. Others are high‑performers who sense they could get more from their breathing, whether in training, work, or daily life. You don’t need prior experience, and you don’t need a specific “breathing problem.” We start from where you are and build from there.
What does a breath coaching session look like — and what happens between sessions?
Sessions combine guided practice, personalized coaching, and clear next steps. Between sessions, you’ll have a breath program to practice — something strategic and realistic. You’ll track your experience in a way that suits you, and we use that information to adjust the plan. We’ll also set up between-session support as appropriate. The process is collaborative and systematic.
What if I’ve tried breathwork before and it didn’t work?
That’s usually a sign the approach didn’t match your needs. Sometimes people are given practices that are too advanced, too generic, or not aligned with their nervous system. That’s why I start by assessing where you actually are, so we can choose practices that meet you there.
I'm active or athletic. Is this right for me?
Very much so. Your breathing muscles respond to training like any other. Breath coaching can improve breath control under load, support recovery between efforts, help maintain nasal breathing and oxygen delivery at higher intensities, and give you metrics to track readiness. It’s one of the most overlooked performance variables.
Do I need prior experience with breath training, yoga, meditation, or fitness training?
Not at all. Every technique is adapted to your comfort level and preferences. Whether you’re new to breathwork or already practice, we’ll start from where you are and how you like to operate — for example: movement‑based, heavily-structured, time-efficient, or effort‑driven.
